Yes, Google Slides were originally designed as a presentation tool, but they can be used for so much more than the traditional 'teacher presents, students yawn' model. Collaboration, peer editing, group note taking, infographics, Presentation Karaoke and choose-your-own adventure stories (perhaps about a historical time, event, or person) are just some of the many ways you and your students can use Google Slides (or Powerpoint) to take your room to a whole new level of engagement.
